Q - When will the project begin?
A - It was scheduled to start in March 2026. UPDATE (8/2026) - the state highway department has informed the City of Richlawn that funds have not been allocated construction funds for the project. It may be 1-2 years from now (August 2026) before the project is underway.
Q - How long will it last?
A - Once it starts, it will last as long as 12 months, depending on the start date.
Q - Can Richlawn block our streets to prevent vehicles from using Blenheim or Ledyard as a cut-through?
A - No, we can't block our streets. However, with the way Hubbards will be made one-way south, we don't anticipate much additional traffic. Our neighbors in Beechwood Village will probably use Blenheim to cross Hubbards on their way to Target & Kroger.
