Minor Housing Rehab Program - Homeowner HVAC Repair, Replacement, Installation
The Minor Housing Rehab Program ("MHRP") is designed to assist low-to-moderate-income Lewisville homeowners with HVAC repair, replacement, or installation services and parts at no cost to the resident. The program provides homeowners with a maximum award of $15,000 per home for the HVAC labor and products and connects the homeowner with a licensed and verified HVAC contractor to complete the work and provide a warranty for the labor completed. Note - Pricing is determined by the HVAC Contractor not by the individual homeowner, therefore award amounts may be less than the maximum award amount.
This program is funded by the Community Development Block Grant. The Program will work with a single HVAC contractor/company determined by the City of Lewisville that will provide the labor and parts to each eligible resident selected. The City of Lewisville Neighborhood Services Department will work with the resident and contractor to ensure timelines and property availability.
This program does not provide funding or reimbursement for work performed outside of the program. All project funds will be paid from the City of Lewisville directly to the contractor/company selected.
