A transcript is a permanent record of courses taken and grades received. Students taking college courses in high school will need a transcript from the specific college in order to transfer credits into another college or university.
Cayuga and Onondaga Community College credits will be accepted by all SUNY institutions if you received a C or higher and the credits fit into your degree program. Acceptance of transfer credit by private institutions is determined on a case-by-case basis. The student should research the transferability of all college credits taken while in high school when considering enrolling in a college or university. Credits earned will be noted on the transcript. A small fee may be charged to have the official transcript sent to another college.
