Phases of Matter
The students are learning about the different phases of matter.
They will be completing experiments to answer:
-How does temperature affect particles in liquids?
-How does temperature affect particles in gases?
-How can we make water condense?
Biomes
Students worked in small groups to complete a Google Slides project on a Biome of their choice:
· Deciduous Forests
· Grassland/Savanna
· Desert
· Tundra
· Taiga
· Tropical Rainforest
All Living Things Sense and Respond to their Environment
The students focused on how living things sense, respond, and adapt to stimuli in their environment.
Activities include:
Sight: "Are Two Eyes Better Than One?"
Hearing: "Detecting Sound"
Touch: "How Sensitive is Skin?"
Smell and Taste: "How we use smell and taste to respond to our environment"
