We hope you like your books as much as we enjoyed making them!

The whole 4A crew was involved in the production of "The Making of 'Fantastic Mr. Fox.'" We learned how EVERYONE had an important job to play - sound effects, costume, props, set design, script writing, directing, acting... It was all about synergy and collaboration.

Hay’sxw’qa si’em to Ms. Ingram who suffered a lot of papier-mache-ing and took amazing photos for us and to Mr G who kept the energy levels in check on Thrusday and Friday afternoons.

Taylor, we feel sad that you missed it, but we did your vision proud! Nikola and Sterling, we missed your presence, too. Thank you for the masks and claws you made and the enthusiasm you had while we were rehearsing. 

Like Mr. Fox, I wish we could keep going together for ever. We finished the year with a few unfinished projects and unfulfilled plans because it was a very busy year. 4A, I loved your enthusiasm, interest in learning new things and creativity. It is with great reluctance I hand you over to Grade 5 (but you are ready). Have a fabulous summer!

Every Friday we have a prize draw. A hat is filled with purple cards stamped with recognition that you have been attentive, appropriate or had an awesome attitude. Only ONE student can win each week...and ususally it's "Eat lunch with a friend", "Read in the beanbag" or "Call a 15 minute d.p.a." Mandy drew a field trip and chose to treat us all to an afternoon at Willow's beach. Hay’sxw’qa si’em, Mandy!

We attended Rumplestiltskin, The Princess and the Pea, and Little Red Riding Hood as performed by the Grade 9 Drama students at SARHS. They weren't quite the conventional tales! They were hilarious! Big thanks to Ms Gauthier-Riggs for inviting us and to her students for doing an amazing job. We had a great time. Həysxw qə!
