Advanced Chess Club

Students enrolling in this class should already know all chess pieces, their movements, and the fundamental rules and objectives of the game. Participants should be serious, committed players or motivated to become one. Instruction will take place in small groups, where students will work closely with a chess coach and receive structured, formal guidance.

Destination Imagination Film Challenge

Course Description
Destination Imagination (DI) is a STEAM based project based learning experiences where groups of 7 students will work together to solve an open ended problem. Children will respond to an open ended prompt. They will solve the problem and present their solution with the submission of a video. They will write the script, make the scenery, costumes and props and direct their own performance. The video will be submitted by Nov 4th and a virtual presentation will be held on Dec 10th. Denominators Math Club

Join the Denominators Math Club. This program is targeted at students who love Math and want to challenge themselves! This program is available to any student in Grades 4 and 5. Practice advanced Math activities and compete in multiple math competitions such as Noetic Learning, University of Waterloo, and American Math Competitions.
