On this website you will find all of the information for Term 1 of our Early Childhood and Elementary After School Activities (ASA) program and registration.
Registration process
Phase 1 of ASA registration will limit each child to 2 After School activities, if you select more than 2, the system will not process the registration until 2 or less courses per child have been selected.
Registration Phase 1 will be open Saturday August 16 at 8:00AM for PreK3- Grade 2 students only and close at 9:00pm
Grades 3-5 will open on Sunday, August 17 at 8:00AM and close at 9:00pm
** We recommend that for the first phase of registration, you choose at least one activity with availability to ensure your child gets at least one of their chosen activities.
Registration Phase 2
Phase 2 will open Monday, August 18th and run until Wednesday, August 20th at 3:00 pm. For this second phase, registration will be completely open, and you may register for as many remaining clubs as you wish that still have space. If there are no spaces left, you may add your child’s name to a waitlist for your chosen club, and we will contact you should space become available.
ASA Session 1 will begin on August 25th and end on November 28th
** No ASA's October 13-17 (October Break)
** No ASAs November 13 -14 (parent teacher conferences)
Terms & Conditions:
All courses require a minimum number of attendees to run.
If an activity is cancelled due to instructor or teacher illness, parents will be notified and a refund or make up session will be issued.
No make-up lessons, credits or refunds will be issued if a student is absent from an ASA.
Cancellations: Each term has a 2-week grace period in which students may attend and cancel their registration. After the 2-week grace period each family will be billed for the entire term and no refunds will be permitted (exceptions to this include injury or other medical conditions that do not permit the student from attending).
In the event of school cancellation due to an unplanned or unexpected event all after school activities will also be cancelled. The ASA instructors will offer make up sessions upon availability.
If School is suspended for less than 1 week each ASA provider will have the option to offer ASA’s virtually, or schedule a make-up. For unplanned school closures under 1 week no refunds will be granted.
For any prolonged school closure, longer than 1 week, families will be refunded the balance of the missed lessons.
Students are subject to disciplinary action from CIS for behavior or conduct issues which can include suspension or removal from the ASA. Students who are removed from an ASA due to behavior or conduct issues are not subject to a refund.
