MUN has a dress code to maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout the conference; delegates, chairs, and participants are expected to wear clothes that represent the high sense of formality and seriousness of the conference. Wearing neutral-coloured clothing is greatly encouraged since it helps match the sense of professionalism at the conference. Clothes must be modest and respectful.
Male delegates: Blazer, long-sleeved dress shirt, suit pants (no shorts), and close-toed formal shoes. Wearing a necktie is also highly recommended (this could be a bit brighter in colour).
Female delegates: Blazer, dress shirt, suit pants or a formal skirt (around knee-length). Formal dresses can also be worn, but should be professional (please don’t wear a sundress to a conference). Footwear such as closed-toe flats or low-heeled shoes can be worn.
Non-binary and gender fluid individuals must still wear formal clothing, in accordance with their identity.
