Parent to parent communication

All parents are automatically enrolled in groups that align to their child(ren)’s enrolment. These Chat groups will make it simple for you to connect, and to stay connected, in a secure environment. We have dedicated virtual rooms for each primary homeroom as well as grade level groups for primary and secondary. 

Step 2 

Open the app. You'll be using google.com to sign in. 

Step 3 

You'll need to login using your CIS credentials, ie your 5 digit@cis.edu.sg account) and password to connect to CIS groups. 

Step 4 

Click the “New chat” sign that you'll see on the screen. Select “Browse spaces”.

Step 5 

Look for the “New” tag and click the plus “+” sign to add it to your rooms.

Step 6

The CIS class (or grade) group will now be added to your rooms in Google Chat. You'll receive push notifications every time a message is posted to the room, so you might want to have it on the first screen of your mobile device. 

Helpful hint: you can also login on your computer.
