The CAS Project

What is the CAS Project? 

A collaborative project that must last at least one month from the Investigation stage to the Demonstration stage. CAS Projects can cover one, two, or all three strands of CAS. Projects should, if possible be completed during DP 1. 

• The Project must be a COLLABORATIVE GROUP experience; the team plans and acts together and reflects as a whole on what worked well and what could be improved or done differently if there would be a next time it can be on any strand or a combination of strands 

• The project covers the learning outcomes “plan and initiate an experience” as well as “work collaboratively with others”

• The CAS project lasts at least a month from Investigation stage to Demonstration (IPARD) during the Grade 11 year.
