US Department of Defense (DoD/Pentagon) wants to globally map out new technologies in the R&D stage and integrate the best of them into the operations of the US Airforce, Navy, and Army.
The GSPD is an opportunity for representatives of the US government and military to hear a short technical presentation from a select group of innovative companies. This event is organized and managed by the Rapid Reaction Technology Office, a unit in the US Department of Defense.
The GSPD is set for the fall, and likely to be in September 2021.
Companies in the R&D phase in the following fields:
Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning | Autonomy | Biotechnology | Cyber | Directed Energy | Fully Networked Command, Communication, and Control (FNC3) | Hypersonics | Microelectronics | Quantum | Space | 5G | Other Disruptive Technologies.
At Technology Readiness Level 3: proof of concept or Technology Readiness Level 4: laboratory validation. On how DoD categorizes the readiness of technology please see here.
Our team will transfer the applications to RRTO using their requested format by the deadline. We will serve as a secondary PoC for future communications with RRTO, and will designate a primary PoC according to the information provided by the companies in the following form.
A panel of subject matter experts will review the initial applicant pool, and decide on the ~30 companies invited to present at the Global Solutions Pitch Day. RRTO will inform successful applicants of their selection and provide additional information on the rest of the process.
The application itself is free and open to any relevant company. However, for this round of applications, we offer a special service at a discounted fee of $150 that will help applicants build a compelling and competitive submission. The service includes a 1-hour consultation with our team of experts, after which we will fully manage and advise you on the initial application process, help you draft your core technology statement, and ensure that your submission meets the DoD prescribed format. This service optional, but it is highly recommended based on our previous experience with similar processes.
Otherwise, we will send in your application based on the entries in the following form, which includes all the information required by RRTO to make your submission eligible for the initial review process. Alternatively, if you wish to apply directly please do so at the US General Services Administration Website (beta.sam.gov).
