Welcome to my webpage.
I am an applied mathematician specializing in mathematical modeling and simulation, with a particular focus on epidemiology and public health. I received my Ph.D. from the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas (CIMAT), where I worked under the supervision of Ignacio Barradas.
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Previously, I held postdoctoral positions at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), under the supervision of Jorge X. Velasco-Hernández; at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), under the supervision of Maíra Aguiar; and at INRAE, under the supervision of Pauline Ezanno.
My research focuses on the development and application of mathematical models and simulation techniques to study complex problems in epidemiology and public health. Through this work, I aim to contribute to a better understanding of disease dynamics and to support evidence-based decision-making in public health.
