Course Description:

6^th grade Earth and Solar System science Course, using inquiry, introduces students to properties of earth science and basic concepts of cosmology. Topics presented may include basic ideas in meteorology, oceanography, geology, astronomy, and geography.Course provides an in depth study of the forces that formed and continue to affect the earth's surface. Earthquakes, volcanoes, and erosion. Most importantly, students will learn how these topics relate to each other and apply this knowledge to the world outside of school.
