Lucy Preciado, Director
Lucy Preciado (known to her students as "Miss Toba") had dreams of becoming a teacher at a very young age. She grew up in Mexico and under the guidance of very caring and loving teachers, her dreams turned into goals. Later on when she found out about the Montessori approach, she believed that she could make a difference in a child’s life. She completed her AMI Montessori training program for ages 3 to 6 primary at the Montessori Institute of San Diego. She began her journey as a Montessori Guide at Scripps Montessori School in San Diego, and then moved to San Francisco where she worked in the Spanish Immersion program at LePort Schools for three years. During these three years she had the pleasure to work with an amazing group of parents that helped her make her long held dream of opening her own school come true.
Lucy truly believes that Cielito Lindo Montessori is a very special place designed by hard working, caring and loving group of parents and teachers.
Ana Toba, Head Teacher
Ms. Ana was born and raised in San Diego, California near to Tijuana, Mexico. When I was a kid I always enjoyed playing with my sister pretending that she was my teacher and I was her student. One time I went to help her at her job ( Scripps Montessori School) and I was impressed on how the children were working and all the amazing things they could do by themselves. I started working there during the after care and then realized that I eager learn more about the Montessori method.
In 2014 I graduated from AMI Montessori training at Montessori institute of San Diego. It was then that I started working as an Assistant Teacher for 4 years and learned a lot from an incredible Head Teacher. During this time, I had the opportunity to come to San Francisco to work for whole summer at LePort Schools. I went back to San Diego and worked at the same school for another school year. Then, I got a surprise call from my sister inviting me to be part of her new school Cielito Lindo Montessori and what was meant to be one year stay turned out to be more than that. The experience of being in a small community and in a Spanish speaking environment has been incredible, I can’t wait to see what the coming year will bring.

She is honored to witness the discoveries that children make while given the opportunity to explore independently. Prior to coming to Cielito Lindo, Mrs. Chamorro was a Lead Teacher in the Spanish Immersion Program at Mission Montessori School.
