Digital citizenship, Internet safety and typing skills are also enforced. Projects are integrated with the English, Social Studies and Science curriculum and follow the National Educational Technology Standards for Students (ISTE NETS.S). students are introduced to Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. An intro to creating logos and posters and learning about graphic designing, our sixth graders learn to use technology to enhance their learning and discover the extent of their creativity. Emphasis in this course is given to the Adobe Pack products through projects in the programs mentioned above. Coding via the CODEHS platform will also be implemented, where students will take instructions and translate it into a language the computer understands. All class work follows the National Educational Technology Standards for Students (ISTE NETS.S).
