At KS5 students continue to develop skills in the disciplines of performing, composing and listening and appraising.
At KS5 students continue to develop skills in the disciplines of performing, composing and listening and appraising.
They study music in the following genres:
The development of the symphony - from Early Classical to Late Romantic symphonic works including analysis of a Haydn and a Mendelssohn symphony.
Rock and Pop music from the 1960s to 1990s including funk, soul, rock and electronic dance music.
Into the 20th century including analysis of pieces by Debussy and Poulenc.
