박현우(박사 2년차) 학생이 학생연구원 자격으로 참석했습니다.
이번 간담회는 배경훈 과학기술정보통신부 장관 주재로,
전국 대학 기초연구자들과 함께 기초연구 생태계의 회복과
지속가능한 성장을 위한
다양한 방안을 논의하는 뜻깊은 자리였습니다.
현장에서는
▲풀뿌리 연구 복원
▲연구자 자율성·창의성 강화
▲장기적·안정적 기초연구 지원 확대
▲연구행정 부담 완화
등 여러 정책 제안이 활발히 오갔으며,

At the Chungbuk National University,
Hyeonwoo Park, a second-year Ph.D. student, participated as a student researcher in the
[On-Site Meeting for Regional University Visits to Promote Field-Oriented Basic Research Policy]
organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The meeting, presided over by Minister Kyung-Hoon Bae of the Ministry of Science and ICT,
was a meaningful occasion where basic research scholars from universities nationwide
discussed various measures for the recovery and sustainable growth of the basic research ecosystem.
At the meeting, active discussions were held on policy proposals such as
▲ restoring basic research
▲ strengthening researcher autonomy and creativity
▲ expanding long-term and stable support for basic research
▲ reducing administrative burdens for research activities
Hyeonwoo Park also joined the dialogue to contribute ideas for improving the future basic research environment.

We felt the breadth and depth of neuroscience while communicating with neuroscientists, students studying neuroscience, and industry professionals all over the world.
"I didn't realize neuroscience was such a broad field," said poster presenter Hyeonwoo Park. The scale astounded me.
I believe it is necessary to study and practice logical explanation in English through poster presentation.
I will not be arrogant, and I will work hard to improve my academic skills."

전라북도 부안군 변산반도 국립공원에서 진행한
생물학과의 첫 합동 야외 실습에
모든 학생들이 함께 참여했습니다.
비록 우리 실험실은 야외 채집을 하지는 않지만
생물학의 다양한 분야를 배우고 체험할 수 있는 좋은 기회였습니다.
또한 많은 학생들, 교수님들, 조교님들 등
학과의 모든 구성원과
좋은 관계를 맺을 수 있는 소중한 시간이었습니다.

Three years after the pandemic,
all students took part in the Department of Biology's first joint field practice at Byeonsanbando National Park in Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.
Although our lab does not conduct field research,
it was a fantastic opportunity to learn about and experience various fields of biology.
It was also a good time to get to know everyone in the department, including many students, professors, and teaching assistants.

- Future of MEA Science : From molecule to behavior]에 참석했습니다.
이번 워크샵에는
여름방학 동안 우리 실험실에서 함께하는
생물학과 4명의 학부 인턴 학생들도 참여했습니다.
모두에게 좋은 경험이 되었으면 합니다.

Held in Busan on the 5th and 6th of July, 2022 We went to the [Joint Workshop on the Use of MEA Equipment- Future of MEA Science: From Molecule to Behavior].

The amount of lab supplies and equipment keeps increasing.
