The Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Global Studies is an international program offered by the Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University in partnership with Korea University, the University of Essex (UK), the University of Leeds (UK), and the University of Queensland (Australia).
Students enrolled in this program will earn a dual degree: one from Chulalongkorn University and another from one of these distinguished partner universities.
Politics and Global Studies (PGS)
PGS is a dual-degree program that provides students with a broad understanding of today’s fast-changing and multifaceted world. It is designed to prepare and empower the next generation to become committed change-makers. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students are introduced to diverse ways of thinking, researching, and analyzing global politics and social complexities. In addition to building knowledge and skills, PGS emphasizes inspiration, offering an engaging and personalized learning environment.

Diverse Modules
Through an internationally designed curriculum, PGS offers both multidisciplinary and specialized courses. Our modules cover philosophy, politics, public policy, sociology, anthropology, international relations, as well as issue-based studies and academic skill development.
Contemporary Focus
PGS emphasizes current and emerging local–global dynamics. As we prepare students to become future leaders and change-makers, we encourage them to engage with interconnected global issues while also envisioning and planning for future challenges and opportunities.
Practical Experience
PGS places strong emphasis on experiential learning. Students gain hands-on knowledge through research projects and senior theses, while also benefiting from direct interaction with a diverse network of faculty, alumni, experts, and practitioners from our partner institutions and organizations.
