Our teams are working hard to continue meeting evaluation deadlines and providing specially-designed instruction to your child.
In cases where testing and observations were not able to be completed before the school closure, evaluations may need to be suspended until the students return to the buildings. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. The Ohio Department of Education is providing flexibility on meeting 60-day evaluation timelines during the closure.
ETR and IEP meetings will be held virtually, with the option to participate via video or phone conference. Specific information on participating in these meetings will be communicated by the person managing the meeting (this may be the school psychologist, intervention specialist, speech-language pathologist, counselor, social worker, or principal).
If you have a question about your child's IEP services, please reach out directly to their case manager. If you do not know who your child's case manager is, please email Kristen Figas at k_figas@chuh.org.
