Vale's Mask: Buttons and Elastic
Clips to the strings to adjust the size.
Pro: tin foil/ aluminum foil is strong and the clips make it even stronger by holding the mask for extra support.
Con: the tin foil/ aluminum foil can feel weird, but you can always fix that.

Laila's Hair tie & Buttons
My solution would be to have 2 buttons on a hair tie that hook onto a mask. There would be 2 buttons on the edge of a hair tie. Then when you need a mask take the mask and the hair tie (The hair ties would come with the masks) and connect the two mask elastics to each button.
Advantages: Adjustable, cheap, easy to put on in a hurry.
Disadvantages: Hair ties can lose their stretch, masks will run out sooner then hair ties.
