February is Heart Month, the perfect time to learn about your risk for heart disease and the steps you need to take now to help your heart.
Each year we participate as a school in the Kids Heart Challenge during the week of Valentine's and have a reward for the top students who donate in each grade. See the winners below!
When March rolls around here is the website to participate: https://www2.heart.org/site/SPageNavigator/khc_resources_search.html
We ask that you sign up on our school page and join the movement to donate to a great cause. We are so PROUD of our students who have already signed up and donated to such a wonderful cause. From the bottom of our hearts, we THANK YOU!
Last year we raised over $18,913 dollars for the American Heart Association to help those who have weak hearts as well as to help doctors and scientists find ways to help those with heart disease. That placed us at #11 in the state out of 969 schools and #3 locally.
We are so proud of everyone who participated this year as each and everyone of you made a difference. And now I’d like to give a big shoutout to those students who were the top fundraisers in their grade.
