School Minibuses

The Finance Office undertake the annual check on driving licences to ensure that we comply with our School motor insurance conditions. Please refer to the Travel pages for more information on Driving a School Minibus. Keys and fuel cards are held at the Finance Office and must be returned promptly so as not to inconvenience other members of staff who have booked. Minibuses must be left clean and tidy of all rubbish and with a reasonable amount of fuel.

External Minibuses

Emma can support you with the hiring of external minibuses for day-to-day activities, please email Emma with dates and times needed and number of passengers including driver. Sally in the Co-Curricular Office manages the hiring of minibuses for Activities week.

Staff are required to book there own coaches, please refer to the Travel pages for more information on external coach hire.

Mobile Phones

School mobiles can be booked out at the finance office for trips. These can be booked a year in advance from September.

Post

Received at Finance Office and delivered to Staff House. Outbound post is collected at 3.50pm. We cannot post items that need to be tracked or large parcels. Due to the large postage bill (c.£10,000 each year) please ensure that you use an appropriate sized envelope. By simply folding an A4 page in half, you cut the postage cost by a third. Do not use A4 envelopes where you don't have to.

Deliveries

Signed for at the Finance Office, and will be distributed by the caretakers to your departments. We do ask that if you have personal items sent to school,that you collect them as soon as possible from the Finance office. The caretakers will not deliver these items for you.

Lost Property

Smaller items such as watches, glasses and jewellery are handed in to the Finance Office.

Petty Cash

Petty cash be claimed up to the value of £30.00. this request must be submitted wherever possible with a petty cash slip and full receipts. This will need to be counter signed by your head of department. Any request over £30.00 will need to be a cheque request form and submitted to the purchase ledger department for a bank transfer.
