Please refer to the CHS Trips Menu 2023-26 to identify a suitable time for the trip.
Book a meeting by emailing co-curricular@chschool.co.uk
Have a clear rationale behind the value of the trip and who would benefit from it
Bring a basic itinerary/trip overview
Have an approximate idea of cost and time of year
Email finance@chschool.co.uk to arrange a meeting
Contact tour companies to get approximate costings
Complete the Finance Plan in advance of the meeting and gain approval.
Once you have received confirmation from the Co-curricular Department work through the Checklist.

Book your Trip Phones and any Currency you need ordering through the Finance Department
Documentation to include in Trip Pack.
Nominate a Deputy Trip Leader.
Arrange a final Staff Briefing.
Arrange a final Student Briefing.
Collect School Mobiles, Currency and Medication.
Make any necessary travel arrangements - book taxis through Main Reception, inform Duty Caretaker if cars are being left on the School site over night.
Make any adjustments to the dynamic Risk Assessment as required.
Update SLT / Emergency Contact during the course of and at the end of the trip.
