Technology Help Center

Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!

Here at Shue, we are working hard to make sure everyone feels confident in using technology that is essential to student learning and progress. We created this website to help parents and students navigate all of our most important technology tools. Please feel free to reach out to us with additional questions or feedback related to technology so that we can continue to update this page with resources that best fit the needs of our Shue family. Contact casey.montigney@christina.k12.de.us with these concerns or feedback.

What should my child do prior to and on the first day of school?

1.) Before the first day of school, your child should log into HAC (Home Access Center) to locate his/her class schedule and should use the 2021-2022 Schedule Tool below to organize that schedule in a student-friendly way. Both of these links are included below. If you have not received your HAC log in, please call our main office at 302-454-2171. Note: HAC is used primarily for checking interim and report card grades. All other concerns (e.g. detailed gradebook) will be in Schoology.

You can "File" then "Make a Copy" if your student wants the ability to type on his/her own copy of the document. Click here to access the schedule: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1afHZ0dHN-kQRRpcGqCFFi7dN4oVWDsRLLJAJQudQkwU/edit?usp=sharing

Chromebook Student PPT

2.) Once your child has a Chromebook for the year, your child should log into his/her Chromebook and set up any personalized features. Click through the presentation on the left for information about the Chromebook, including how to log in. To navigate the presentation, you can either use the arrows near the bottom of the presentation or open the presentation in a new window.

3.) Once your child has a Chromebook, your child should log into Schoology to make sure he/she knows how to do so. Directions are included on the right (open the document to the right in a new window to view it full screen). A more detailed view of Schoology navigation is included on our "Navigation" page.
