Sunday Morning Children's Classes

The Toddler Nursery is available weekly for the entire worship service except on Youth Sundays.

Our Toddler Nursery offers a caring, worshipful space for the entire worship service. Little ones take their very first steps into church life by experiencing God’s love through relational care, play, and simple songs. Guided by the Rhythms of Worship curriculum and storybook Bibles, toddlers build early comfort and trust in God’s house through peaceful routines like reading short Bible stories, singing, praying, and playing together. This room focuses on helping young children feel safe, loved, and welcomed as they begin to absorb the gentle rhythm of gathering with the church family.

SIGNS OF READINESS:

Toddler is starting to walk, able to participate in simple group play, and beginning to engage with short stories, songs, and routine gathering habits.

As children grow out of the nursery, they move from simple comfort in church to an active understanding of what happens during the service. Using the Exploring the Elements of Worship curriculum, kids step into a more structured, hands-on environment where they learn the specific parts of corporate worship. Through interactive storytelling, movement, music, and activities, young learners discover why we worship and how to confidently participate in the church family.

SIGNS OF READINESS:

Child can follow two-step directions, sit for a short 10-15 minute interactive lesson, comfortable separating from parent, and showing curiousity about churce servie routines.

Connecting the entire Bible as one Big Story centered on Jesus.

Older elementary kids transition from understanding the parts of worship to connecting the entire Bible as one unified message. Using The Biggest Story curriculum, children dive into the overarching narrative of Scripture through vibrant visuals, engaging lessons, crafts, and group activities. Rather than viewing Bible stories as isolated events, kids discover how every passage points directly to the Gospel of Jesus and their place in God's ongoing story.

SIGNS OF READINESS:

Child is reading mostly independently and asking big-picture questions about how Bible stories fit together. 

Navigating personal faith, spiritual gifts, and global mission application.

Preteens take their knowledge of God's big story and begin taking real-world action with the Mission Possible curriculum. Students explore their unique spiritual gifts and learn how God calls and uses them right now. This monthly class equips kids to navigate their personal faith, connect with God's global work, and step confidently into the life of the broader church.

SIGNS OF READINESS:

Student connects Biblical truths to personal real-life decisions, shows maturity to sit through corporate worship/sermons, and expresses interest in professing their faith.

This class meets on Second Sundays and children have the opportunity to assist in the Explore Worship class.
