Slavik Dimitrovich is a ten-year veteran of Amazon Web Services, where he has held engineering and management positions in Seattle, Singapore and now in Seoul.

Slavik joined the company in 2010 as a Software Development Manager, building highly available distributed systems based on then nascent cloud technology. With this first-hand knowledge and a passion for the benefits of cloud technology, he moved into the AWS Solutions Architecture team, helping to grow the function from just 50 people, to the global organization it is today. Slavik initially worked as a Solutions Architect for Amazon.com and as a manager of an SA team responsible for all startup customers in the US. He then moved to Singapore to lead a team of Specialist Solutions Architects across the Asia Pacific region.

Today he serves as Head of Solutions Architecture for AWS Korea, where he leads a team of customer-centric engineers dedicated to supporting local customers ranging from large enterprises like Samsung Electronics and Korean Air, to startups like 42Maru and Woowa Brothers. His team supports AWS’s customers on their digital transformation journeys, providing expert technical advice about how to build cloud solutions to achieve maximum security, scale, performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
