Hi! I'm Barbara Hosmer, and I teach elementary technology. I've been with WMAES for 16 years, first teaching Spanish and now teaching our kids to use their technology safely and efficiently. We have a lot of fun learning to use our devices safely and linking our activities to the environment. We also enjoy 'Take a Walk Wednesday' each week to just get outside and get in touch with nature!

We are learning to use our touchpad and/or a mouse to control our computers. We are also practicing our letters with some great websites, like Typetastic and Starfall.
1st - 3rd grade

We are currently practicing our typing skills with Typetastic.com. We are using Google Docs to write about nature and the gardens at our school.
4th - 5th grade
4th - 5th grade
4th-5th are practicing their keyboarding skills with typetastic. We are also practicing our Google Docs and writing skills by writing persausive essays about our schools ecosystems. These kids are working hard!
