Hi! I'm Barbara Hosmer, and I teach elementary technology. I've been with WMAES for 16 years, first teaching Spanish and now teaching our kids to use their technology safely and efficiently. We have a lot of fun learning to use our devices safely and linking our activities to the environment. We also enjoy 'Take a Walk Wednesday' each week to just get outside and get in touch with nature!

We are learning to use our touchpad and/or a mouse to control our computers. We are also practicing our letters with some great websites, like Typetastic and Starfall.
We are learning all about Digital Safety in the month of October! Watch for a booklet all about our DigiCitizens to go home.

We are learning about Digital Citenship through programs that teach about safe searching, strong passwords, and being kind online.

4th-5th are practicing their keyboarding skills with typetastic.
We are learning about being strong Digital Citizens through programs and discussions about safe searching, cyberbullying, and ways to protect our privacy.
