Literacy Coach

I am part of the Lake Superior Academy team. My job involves working with teachers and students to ensure the success of every student at LSA.

As the special eduation teacher, I help our teachers and team determine if a student requires an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) to be successful in school. If an IEP is needed, we develop that plan in cooperation with the students and their parents. I will then work with students to meet their individual academic and emotional needs.

As the literacy coach, my work involves ensuring that all students are learning to read well. This involves assessment of student learning and also working with individual students to keep all our students progressing in their reading skills.
