Classroom Links

Here is a list of websites we use frequently in our classroom. You and your child are welcome to access these websites at home as well!

Class Dojo- this will be a website we use for communication between teachers and families. You (as parents) can access your Dojo account through any computer, or through mobile apps on both Android and Apple devices.

Epic!- Access to books is one of the best ways to encourage young readers to develop a love of reading. Epic includes over 25,000 books and educational videos to help spark a young reader's interest. You can log in at home to view your child's progress and see what he or she has been reading. This access is free. If you would like your child to be able to use Epic at home, there is a small monthly fee. Use the Epic app or their website and our class code (sent home in your child's folder) to log in.

Free Math Apps- This website features many of the learning tools we use with Bridges, our district's math curriculum. Your child can explore manipulatives we've used in class, as well as others used in different grade levels. The tools can be accessed on a computer, tablet or phone. No login is required.

Google Classroom- This is the hub for all of our daily work in the classroom.  Students will access this several times a day. They can also access their classes at home to work on unfinished assignments or to reach links we've used in class.

Great Minds (Wit and Wisdom)- Students may use this website to access video versions of lessons they have missed due to absences in order to keep them up to speed with our classroom work. Students can sign in with Google using their Chippewa Falls account.

Raz-Kids- Another great resource for accessing texts online, Raz-Kids provides readers with texts that are matched to their reading level. This means the texts are not too hard or too easy, but rather are accessible to the reader, regardless of their reading ability.

XtraMath- This website is an engaging and fun way for students to practice fact fluency. Quickly being able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers provides a solid foundation for more challenging math skills. XtraMath helps students build this necessary fact fluency in a game-like manner. Use the XtraMath app or their website and your enrollment code (sent home in your child's folder) to log in.
