All Grade 11 students will have completed GROW model pre-assessment
By the end of Grade 10, all students will be inrolled int the Sask Youth Apprenticeship Google Classroom
Promote programs and opportunities outside of traditional post-secondary institutions
Highlight opportunities for Indigenous students

The Chinook Career Counselling program has adopted the use of the GROW model. The GROW model is a way of creating an action plan for the development of the self and others. The GROW Model provides a logical step-by-step structure that leads to clarity and commitment.Â
Career Counselling Timelines
September to December
Grade 12 students will begin post-secondary and scholarship applications
January
Grade 10 and 11 students will begin selecting courses for the next school year leading toward graduation with all required classes
Grade 11 students will complete their Grade 11 GROW Survey
Grade 12 check-in and scholarship applications
Parent Information Nights
February to May
Grade 10 Sask Youth Apprenticeship registrations
Continue Grade 10-11 high school course selections
Parent Information Nights
Maintain support for Grade 12 students
June
Grade 11 class presentations to prepare for Grade 12 expectations and timelines
Grade 12 Student Loan applications
Grade 12 Post-secondary course selections
