"Be involved in a lot of sports or clubs on campus" -Junior
"GET INVOLVED! Entering Freshman year, the high school environment was not what I expected there were so many people all of a sudden. What I did is I made sure I was involved. I joined a club and joined 2 sports...In years after, I made sure to be more involved and more sociable and I made even more friends." -Junior
"Make the best of your time at lugo. Your experience at lugo is as good as you make it. Be involved and meet new people because in the end it's who you surround yourself with that makes all the difference. -Sophomore
"The advice I'll give to a freshman or an incoming freshman is to not worry about anything and just go with the flow with school. You are not alone and there's other freshmen that are going through the same thing you are too"-Sophomore
"Advice I would give to freshman or incoming freshman is to start having a plan for your future when you are a freshmen because it makes you feel less stressed as you go through the years. If you have different goals from your originally then you can tweak it but you will feel less stressed if you have a plan in the first place.." -Junior
"I would say to only take advanced classes if you're passionate about that certain subject. Also, just enjoy all the fun classes and clubs Lugo has to offer and enjoy this time, don’t drain yourself with school work!! It goes by so fast so try new things and see what you like." -Junior
"I would tell an incoming freshman to definitely involve yourself with different activities. I know this is something that is often told by our teachers and former students, but I have learned how important it is to really involve yourself in extracurricular activities. It can help you to make new friends, gain new interests, and to ultimately learn more about who you are as an individual." -Junior
"Do not be afraidto meet new people. You can possibly make long-lasting friendships or just casual friends who you can ask for help in classes. Also, don't be afraid to talk to the upperclassmen. We don't bite!" -Junior
