Kate S

Lead Advisor

Kate has a long standing backround in Emergency Services. In 2005 she began her volunteer firefighting career and obtained her EMT-B, until 2010 where she took a break to be a Mom of 3. She obtained her NYS Paramedic Certificate in 2009 and worked in the commercial EMS service as well as teaching Paramedicine at ECC South until 2020 when she graduated from ECC with her A.A.S in Respiratory Therapy where she now works at Strong Memorial Hospital. She joined Chili Fire Department in 2023 after moving to Chili from Lancaster NY. She believes in next generation firefighting and is passionate about working with our young members to prepare them to be adult members of the volunteer fire service or even career firefighters in the future!

Kyle D

Advisor

Kyle began his journey in the fire service as a child inspired by visits to the firehouse with his Dad. He joined the Chili Fire Department as an Explorer in 2006 and now proudly serves as a volunteer firefighter and the department's EMS Officer. Kyle is an Army veteran and a lifelong Chili resident. He currently works as a Paramedic and enjoys boating, exploring new places and spending quality time with his daughter. Kyle is a wealth of knowledge and a strong leader for our youth members. He will push them to be the best version of themselves as volunteer firefighters.

Andrew S

Advisor

Andrew began his volunteer firefighting as a generational firefighter alongside his father who was Chief of the fire department when Andrew joined in 2006. Andrew trained hard and has many fire classes under his belt. He left the fire department in 2011 to focus on being a Dad of 3 and begin a new career with NYSDOCCS. He served in Attica prison for 11 years until moving to Chili NY and transitioning to the MCSO. He joined Chili Fire Department in 2023 with Kate and now serves as 2nd Lieutenant for Chili's company 2 station. He is dedicated to the fire service and comes with patience, knowledge and natural leadership to guide our youth members to do their best!
