The Chili Fire Department Juniors/RAMS is a youth program (ages 13-18) that allows high-school aged teens the opportunity to volunteer and learn about the fire service.  This program has been an important part of Chili Fire Department's impact on the community for over 50 years.

Our program offers young people an opportunity to build real-world skills that go far beyond what’s typically taught in a classroom. Through hands-on training and mentorship, participants develop critical problem-solving abilities, learn to stay calm and think clearly in challenging situations, and gain the confidence to take initiative. The program emphasizes teamwork and leadership, helping students understand how to rely on one another and step up when their community needs them most. Just as importantly, it fosters a strong sense of service and belonging—teaching kids that being part of a community means supporting and protecting the people around them.
