DIRECTOR
Braylon is an award-winning director and actor hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Recent collaboration credits include: Guthrie Theater, The Phipps Center for Performing Arts, CPA, BCS Summerstock, SoWashCo Summer Sock, Theatre At Normandale, and several others!
As a director, Braylon's work has been recognized by the BroadwayWorld Awards and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. In his educational work, he recently directed White Bear Lake Area High School's 2024 Competition One-Act 'She Kills Monsters', which took first place as the Section 4AA champions in his 3rd year directing it for the school, earning them a spot at the State Festival for the first time in 13 years. Braylon has cultivated training in the field from Southwest Minnesota State University, the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and Normandale College. He is currently the Education & Programs Manager at Children's Performing Arts, and an associate member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society (SDC).

CHOREOGRAPHER
Madi Nelson is a Twin Cities-based performer, choreographer, and teaching artist. Madi is a graduate of Lindenwood University, where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre. During the day, Madi works as a Special Education EA in Saint Paul Public Schools, and will start working towards a Master’s in Special Education this summer. She is especially passionate about working with neurodivergent youth, arts advocacy, and how to make theatre more accessible for everyone. They are thrilled to be back at CPA after working on THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL in 2024. Other recent choreography credits include: RIDE THE CYCLONE, THE MUSIC MAN (Lyric Arts), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (The Phipps), MARY POPPINS (Rosetown Playhouse), and SHREK JR. (Youth Performance Company).
Teaching Artist
Max Wojtanowicz (he/him/his) is a performer, director, writer, and educator based in the Twin Cities. A native of Rice, Minnesota, and a graduate of St. Olaf College, he has performed on several stages throughout the Twin Cities and around Minnesota, including the Guthrie Theater, Children's Theatre Company, Nautilus Music-Theater, Theater Latté Da, Ten Thousand Things, the Jungle Theater, and others. Max has taught and coached actors at St. Olaf College, Yellow Tree Theatre, the Guthrie Theater, St. Cloud Civic Theater, Plymouth Playshop, Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute, Maple Grove High School, Lakeville North High School, and Spotlight Education.
