Your PVHS Wellness Counselor
PVHS offers a connection to mental health counseling to students in need. Students may self-refer by contacting their academic counselor or may email the wellness counselor directly. Guardians, teachers, and administrators may also refer students to the wellness counselor.
What is counseling...why see a counselor? Counseling is different for each individual. Some use counseling to focus on specific goals, manage current challenges, or just to have an opportunity to express themselves in a non-judgmental, confidential relationship. Counseling may be used as an ongoing part of your emotional self-care routine, an opportunity to check-in consistently, or a resource to engage in when struggling - it's up to you!
