Margaret Reece

Margaret Reece is the Chief Business Officer (CBO) for CCDS, and has worked at CCDS for 14 years. She is a Certified Chief Business Officer through CASBO, the California Association of School Business Officers, and has a Certificate in School Business Management from USC. She has a Master of Public Administration from CSU, Chico, and a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Both of her sons attended Chico Country Day School from preschool through 8th grade. Zachary and Nicholas both attend college. Their golden retriever, Milo, keeps everyone entertained. She was born and raised in Woodland, CA, and has lived in Chico for almost 20 years after moving here from Phoenix with her husband, Greg Gazda.

Margaret loves to swim and has been involved in competitive swimming for over 36 years. She's a member of Chico Masters Swimming and loves to jump in the pool every morning! According to Margaret, the best part of working at CCDS is being able to support the staff and help them provide our students with the best education they can get. "Our teachers and all of our support staff are dynamic, energizing, fun, and innovative. I have the best job - get our school the funding - make sure we comply with all the administrative stuff - then watch them work their magic with our students. It's amazing, and I know from personal experience that our kids are fortunate to be so engaged and excited about learning!"
