Colly Fischer

My name is Colly Fischer, Dean of Students, at Chico Country Day School. I was raised in the beautiful Silicon Valley in San Jose and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and U.C. Berkeley for my collegiate career. My career started 28 years ago and since then I have enjoyed working in each grade level from kindergarten through eighth grade. Funny thing is, I still love my job, welcome to the world of learning.

I became part of the CCDS community when my family relocated to Chico 12 years ago. My daughters both went through CCDS and now have moved on to high school and college. In my spare time, I love to travel and wander, hike and meander, and garden and cultivate. If I am lost, you might find me lounging in the pines reading a good book.
