Location and Site
CFS is located 15 minutes from one of Britain’s sandiest beaches and close to a beautiful cathedral city. The academy moved into its brand-new home in September 2018. Our purpose-built facilities are just south of the cathedral city, and are within easy access to the south coast and the South Downs.
An Overview from the Governors
Ours is a school which nurtures children to achieve great things, challenges them to apply their learning in our extended day activities, and inspires them to engage creatively in a rigorous, academic curriculum.
We want to provide - for all children, of all abilities, and from all backgrounds - the opportunity to have an excellent education. As an all-through school, we are well placed to really know our students and their families. We nurture, challenge and inspire each individual through a robust academic curriculum delivered alongside a diverse enrichment programme that supports them to develop their own talents, interests and life skills.
Today we start our search for a new Head of Primary to lead the primary phase on the next stage of our journey.
The core purpose of the Head of Primary is to provide professional leadership and management for CFS, working with the Executive Principal, Governing Body and others to create a shared vision and strategic plan which inspires and motivates pupils, staff and other members of the school community. They will specifically lead on Teaching and Learning & the Curriculum, take a day to day operational lead in the Primary phase and will also deputise for the Executive Principal.
In return we will offer you:
A thriving and vibrant inclusive school, with a positive ethos and strong core values which plays an active role in the development of the wider Trust.
A passionate, hard-working primary team who are dedicated to getting the best out of all our children.
A high-quality exciting learning environment.
Strong partnerships with parents and carers.
