Learn with Alumni!

Learn summer or year round flight instruction with Cheverus alum Parker Montano '15 through York County Helicopters. You can talk to him about his work with the Middle School Flight Camp! Parker writes, "Maine ACE camp focusses more on career exploration than just teaching people to fly. They have countless volunteers working every job imaginable in the aviation industry from mechanics, the crash investigators, to pilots. They all have the same goal, and that is to get younger people into the industry. The industry as a whole is incredibly receptive to mentoring individuals who want to come into aviation." It takes approximately 50 hours to earn a flight license. You must be 17 years old for the license, but can be as young as 9th grader to begin lessons.
