Word Study/Spelling homework is mandatory every night.

Monday-Thursday

Pick one activity per night to complete in the Spelling Journal.

If completing the word search, unscramble, or missing letter worksheet, please glue  worksheet it into the spelling journal.

Students should keep their journal neat and organized.  Please use the next clean page each night.  Do not skip around. 

If spelling homework is unable to be completed at night, student will have to make it up during snack time.

Students should be reading at least 10 minutes every night, as well. 

Homework Worksheet will be sent home in the Take Home Binder.

Homework is not graded.  If you feel your child is struggling with a worksheet, please email your teacher, do not write a note on the paper.

ELA Optional Homework consists of: Take Home pages CKLA, Reading passages (please sign the top if your child reads it to you, in order to count towards prize bin), extra P.P pages after a journal is sent home.
