Goals:
1. Students will research information about one chosen type of butterfly/moth.
2. Students will be able to identify the appearance, habitat, and food sources of their butterfly/moth.
3. Students will be able to identify the steps of the butterfly/moth life cycle.
4. Students will create a model of their butterfly/moth. Their model must reflect the information found from their research.
5. Students will write a report or design a presentation that provides information about their butterfly/moth's appearance, habitat, and food sources.
5a. (Optional) Students will create a poster that describes the life cycle stages of their butterfly/moth.
6. Students will orally present their model and information about their butterfly/moth to the class.
