Our next unit in writing is a n opinion writing, you child will be writing their own personal opinion piece(social issue) after talking about social issues in class. We are writing about a time you helped someone or something. Over break we ask you to start talking about this with your child. It will help them come back from break with ideas and gives us a great starting place!
Please be sure to always return home journals by Tuesday. We write in them EVERY Wednesday. Your child loves this interaction with you throughout the school day and I have loved watching their writing grow from the beginning of the year to now.Â
