We're back again!!! For our 25th year!!!!!
Here are the details for this year:
Overview: The RMMC is an annual math event/competition for 3rd-5th graders. Each year, around 300 students gather together on the first Saturday in December to work together on challenging math problems.
Date: Saturday, Dec 6th, 2025
Times: 8:30 to 2:00 (ish)
Location: Smoky Hill High School
Teams/Kids: same as usual; 3 kids per grade (3rd, 4th and 5th)
Cost: $110 per school (we'll be doing an automatic "Journal Entry" payment this year)
More details: Most schools choose their team of 9 (sometimes with a few extra students), and organize at least a few practices (the more, the better!) to look at sample problems, work on "Team Round" strategies, and just have fun doing puzzley math problems! We split the schools (usually 25-30) into 3 "divisions" to maximize the amount of awards we can give (we'll give LOTS of awards, and each school will have at least one winner, or more!).
The link to Pre-Register your school is live (should take you about two minutes).
And the website is in the process of being updated. But go ahead and start getting your teams/clubs together, and we'll look forward to seeing you on Dec 6th!
And here is a little flyer that you're welcome to print or forward out if you need to drum up interest (or feel free to make your own!).
Hope all's well! Let me know if you have any questions.
