Pick-up & Drop-off Information

Our parking lot is small and does not accommodate the parking needs of this community.  With the large number of cars that drive through the parking lot to drop off their children, it is of the greatest importance to keep our lanes open so cars, school buses, and childcare center vans can get in and out of the parking lot safely and with ease. 

Parking Lot Procedure: As parents drive into the parking lot, please be cautious of students in the parking lot and drive slowly.  Parents, please help your child realize the parking lot is similar to being in the street, and children must look for cars before crossing the lanes to get to their parent’s vehicle.  Please follow the parking lot procedure below:

• The lane closest to the building is used for school buses and childcare center vans to drop off and pick up only.  The lane is closed to parent driving use.

• The middle two lanes of the parking lot are for parent driving use.  The right lane is for drop off and pick up.  The left lane is a drive thru lane.  Please stop at crosswalks and watch for children crossing.

• Children need to exit or enter the vehicle on the passenger (right) side, so they are not walking in the drive thru lane.  Children need to use the crosswalk to cross the parking lot.

• Drivers must remain in their vehicles in the drop off/pick up lane.  If a parent wants to escort their child to the classroom, they must park their car in a designated parking spot.

• Red curbs are no parking zones.

• If you have unique circumstances or considerations, please communicate your situation with someone in the front office.
