How High School Tournaments Work

Playing time is determined for league and invitational tournaments by coaches and rankings.

Varsity

There are 5 Centennial League meets to determine the league champion.

5 players represent each school with the best four scores counted towards a team score.

At the end of the season the team with the lowest aggregate score is the league champion.

Junior Varsity

JV players participate in a series of invitational tournaments with four to six other schools.

All tournaments are individual tournaments with players representing their school.

Modified rules are sometimes implemented to assist players with pace of play or learning more complex rules.
