MyCAP

My Career and Academic Plan (MyCAP) is a graduation requirement that starts in sixth grade and continues through high school, helping students explore career and postsecondary pathways while planning courses and opportunities aligned with their goals. 

Students participate in activities such as: 

• Career exploration

• Academic progress monitoring

• Financial literacy

• Work-based learning

• Postsecondary credit exploration

• Complete applications for colleges, scholarships, internships, and more

Naviance is the online platform used for MyCAP planning and activities. Through Naviance, students can also set goals, plan courses, build résumés, and complete career assessments.

Parents/guardians now have access to Naviance through your my.cherrycreekschools.org account, allowing you to view your student’s MyCAP progress and support their educational/career journey.
