We are excited to teach and work with the students from Kindergarten through 6th grade at Cherokee Charter Academy. We believe that music is an outlet to express emotions through listening and performing and that it is important in the development of the young mind.
Teacher Introductions
My name is Elora White. I am so thankful and excited to be able to teach music at Cherokee Charter Academy. I am a graduate of Limestone College where I earned a music degree and have over 20 years experience teaching music. I have worked with students of all ages and levels and I love to incorporate fun activities and games into my lessons. My joy and satisfaction comes from working with and instilling confidence in them as they grow and learn music. My ultimate goal is that they enjoy as they learn.

My name is Deanna Smith. I am overjoyed to be teaching music at Cherokee Charter Academy. My goal is to inspire the students here at CCA, to love music as much as I do. I want them to have fun and learn that music can be a wonderful outlet.
