Physics Videos
I am making instructional videos for my online general physics classes that I place on my YouTube channel. I use a glass board that I built myself. The camera gets placed on one side of the glass and then I draw on it. I then reverse the video so that you don't see the words backwards. I will usually solve problems of my own creation so that I am not providing answers to students from other colleges.
Here are a few things I do differently than some instructors and texts:
I don't worry about significant figures. That's because they are stupid.
I don't always put units in equations. That's because I use SI units exclusively and I trust that my algebra is correct. So I know that the units for my answers will be SI.
I provide lots of details in free-body diagrams.
