Covid Update

Alsatia Malcolm Johnson

Amanda Frank

We decided to interview students and teachers to see how they were coping with Covid. We were interested in discovering how everyone adapted to the sudden move to online learning and teaching.  Students and teachers had different opinions.  The most significant thing we learned was everyone wants to return to normal.

Interviewees: Romare Thomas Jackson Lewis

On December 1, 2020,  MSNN reporters Leo Gest And Harry Rubin-Reynolds interviewed Jackson Lewis and Romare Thomas on their experiences in virtual school. They interviewed them on breaks and homework. Romare Thomas said that he was a bit sad because of how much homework he had. He was happy about breaks because he says, “You can basically go anywhere but you have to come back.”

He also liked that you can eat at home. Romare said “Home food is the best.”

Jackson Lewis said he also liked that there was downtime during school: “You get to take breaks and chill.”
