Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning

There are countless scenarios for synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning sessions depending on grade level, content, and student progress.

Successful remote learning is still contingent on developing strong teacher/student relationships and employing best practices regarding instructional strategies. This demonstration, while not an exhaustive representation of the digital tools available to our teachers and students, provides some clarity on the means by which these strategies can be delivered to our students while teachers and students are apart.

CSD Technology: Chromebook Distribution and Support Program

The CSD Technology Department is distributing loaner chromebooks to help alleviate the strain families could feel as the result of starting this academic year 100% online. If you are a family in need and do NOT have a device at home, please fill out the chromebook request form. If you have a chromebook and are in need of repair, use the chromebook repair link.

For additional information regarding student chromebook distribution, repair, and troubleshooting as well as discounted internet service from Comcast and Verizon, please visit the CSD Technology Department website.

PowerSchool Information

Cheltenham School District uses PowerSchool for its Student Information System (SIS). Only parents of 5th through 12th grade students need to access PowerSchool. Access codes are mailed home to families at the beginning of the school year. Click through to learn about creating a parent account.

If you do not know your student and/or parent access code, please contact your building secretary for credentials. If you believe your account needs to be reset, our database administrator, Vicky Sanchez, can take care of that for you. Please email her at vsanchez@cheltenham.org.

If you already have the app installed, delete it and reinstall.
Download the app from your mobile store, there are iOS and Android versions.
Open the app.
Instead of putting in the current mobile district code, click "Where's My District Code"
Afterward, click on "Enter Server Address"
Enter https://powerschool.cheltenham.org as the server address.
Students and parents should then be able to enter current access information via the login screen.
